Since the age of 16, I have had the privilege of working with children of various ages, including babysitting for some of my own family members, neighbors, friends, and colleagues. I truly enjoy the joy that children bring into the world with their creative, loving, fun, and inquiring minds. Due to my fond admiration and respect for children, I pursued and completed a Dual Degree Program obtaining a Master of Science in Child Development from Erikson Institute and a Master of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago. I am a bilingual (Spanish-English) Infant-Early Childhood Developmental Therapist and Floor-time Provider. I am passionate about helping children with social-emotional and developmental needs and providing a support system for their families. I met Robin two years ago when we started working together. I quickly became aware and truly inspired by her passion, dedication, and work ethic. She is just truly amazing with children and she has over 12 years experience. The manner in which she interacts with children is truly amazing to watch because she's gifted in establishing trust, allowing them room for growth and exploration, while st the same time ensuring that they are learning and enjoying the self in whatever creative activity she's prepared. She is highly trained and will be nurturing and kind every step of the way. I am very lucky to call her a friend and I highly recommend her.
