I have been an LNA and have worked with patients up to end of life Hospice Care. I have also worked with special needs individuals for many years. Some could do quite a bit for themselves. Some needed assistance to do mostley everything. I am a very kind and understanding caregiver. My clients tend to get very close to me because I'm trustworthy and always have their best interest in mind. I have had a lot of training over the years. I have worked for a few of the bigger agencies around the state. I have managed my own group home in the past. I am reliable. Right now, I prefer to work for myself rather than for a company for a few reasons. Most times, the larger companies charge an hourly fee that is not affordable for most families, and with a big company, you usually get multiple staff coming in and out . With me It's a familiar face, which in my experience is always best for the individual. My hourly rate is more affordable for families to get the care and support that they need.
