Providing care for our parents, our loved ones, as they deserve to be looked after, is the most profound gift we can give to them. Many families defer to the wishes of their loved ones to remain at home for the duration of their illness or for the last phase of their life. While this is a loving and compassionate decision, it can also be a stressful time for the family. Asking for help may alleviate some of this anxiety. My name is Robin and I live in Salem. Over the past 10 years I have had the pleasure of assisting several wonderful people in maintaining their quality of life in their own home. I grocery shop, cook, do light cleaning, assist in bathing and dressing, give medication and companionship. My availability is 3-4 week days, Monday-Thursday, 9am-4 p.m. References and resume upon request.

My family hired Robin to assist with my Mom's care when she developed the end stages of COPD. She came highly recommended from another family with a mother with the same condition. To say the least, she was an "angel" to my sisters and I during a most difficult time in my Mom's life. She was reliable, patient and caring to my Mom and was considered to be a friend by her. She was always willing to help at the last minute for any emergencies, groceries, prescriptions, etc. We would highly recommend her to anyone in the same position!
