My daily work schedule was full of a combination, circumstances that provided opportunities from the food drives to the benefit gatherings that helped make things possible to many men & women that otherwise spent their life on the streets and in and out of corrections. Many of the employees I worked with every day came in off the streets we mostly hired in from the program. So, I was able to watch many of them succeed and work a job to eventually move onto a family and a house or even a car in many cases. I wouldn't change anything about the years I spent there. I worked with Respite Care Room & Board Patients for several years under a contract with Adventist Health. That included everything from medication management, appointments.
