I have been a nurse for 27 years and have worked with seniors much of my career. I currently work part time with Hospice. I have worked long term care and ran an Alzheimer's respite program at one time. I am caring and compassionate and a patient advocate. I will treat your family member just like my own. I am open to occasional sitting or even daily/weekly check ins if that is all you need at this time. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, cheerful and patient. I like caring for seniors because so many need assistance with daily living when they are unable to help themselves. I'm looking for a job that involves helping others. I started caring for seniors when I became a nurse 27 years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, go to the beach and knitting. One thing you should know about me is I am an advocate for seniors and am passionate about seniors receiving appropriate care. My skills include assessment, companionship and quality care.
