Hi! I have been babysitting for 12 years and I love it! One of the children I babysit regularly is on the autism spectrum. I also babysat a child his entire life who suffered from a brain tumor causing aphasia. In high school, I worked with our Unified program to help kids with special needs in different areas. I focused on dance and helping a girl in our class who was non-verbal to be able to communicate through ASL and dance. I graduated college from NAU in May of 2020 with my bachelors degree as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I am taking some time off of school, but I am hoping to work at a children's hospital after grad school. I am currently a preschool teacher for kids 12mo- 5yrs.
