A little bit about me: I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Cal Poly Pomona. I completed my Newborn Care Specialist training at the Gentle Ventures Training Center and I have 6 years experience working as a Newborn Care Specialist, taking care of newborns (0-4 months). I find this job extremely rewarding. The best job I have ever done! I enjoy every aspect of caring for newborns: comforting, soothing, feeding, dressing & grooming, playing with them, telling them stories and singing to them. I have worked with singletons as well as with twins and I have experience with one preemie baby. My client families often tell me how much they appreciate my mature, nurturing and calm demeanor, as well as my professionalism and positive spirit. It is really a joy to work with newborns but it's also very rewarding to be the support to a family transitioning into new roles after they bring their precious little one home. one.
