About Rita

I developed an enrichment program for children that is designed to foster a love for reading and educate through music and storytelling to satisfy developmental progress. I am honored to have influenced over 100+ children throughout the span of my 20 year career of teaching and caring for children in their formative years. Despite not having a brick and mortar space to call my own, families followed; many from different countries and continents. I began Parade of Colors when my children were 2 and 4 where they learned to celebrate individuality and support inclusion. Now they are both young adults 21 and 23, I couldn't be more proud of being their mother. The most rewarding part of my day continues to be watching children thrive, while parents smile on. My goal is for parents to see their childs confidence increase along with their social and emotional intelligence. My hope is for each child to approach life long learning with curiosity amd enthusiasm.
