This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
My name is Rinchen. I am from Tibet. I came to the United States in 2008 and I have been working as a caregiver for the majority of my time in the U. S. I have over 15 years of experiences as a caregiver. Currently, I am looking for a care-giving position either as daytime or nighttime. The position can be full-time or live-in After coming to the U. S, I have worked for over eight families as a caretaker. Most of my client suffered dementia as a result I have gained experience and knowledge in working with dementia patients. With all of my past employees, I have always been a good caregiver. All of the families I have worked for truly enjoyed and felt satisfied with my service. Among the families, over six of the clients have passed away and as a result, I had to complete my work with them. I still kept in touch with those families. As a caregiver, I am compassionate, kind, patient, and very empathetic with people I work for.

To Whom It May Concern, By way of introduction I will tell you a little about myself. I am a socially and politically involved member of the Berkeley Community for the last 50 years. Mother of two sons raised in berkeley, grandmother of three grandsons, I am long time member of the Berkeley Community Garden establishment and the Berkeley Historical Society. I was a kindergarten teacher in the Berkeley Unified School District for thirty one years and have been retired since 2001. In my working years I had a great deal of experience supervising hourly employees and have worked with a wide range of individuals. So when I say that a person is an excellent worker, I know what I’m talking about. Rinchen is an excellent worker and an outstanding human being. I’ve known Rinchen L. since she worked for my best friend, a fellow elementary teacher , in 2011. In the thirteen years since then she has become one of my most trusted, admired and beloved friends. Rinchen first worked for me in 2012 when she was a full time care giver for my husband in our Berkeley home, when he was diagnosed with cancer. She was a fantastic caregiver patiently and lovingly looking after his every need during the whole year that he was in hospice care. She continued to support our family at the time of his death in June of 2013. she helped our whole family cope with our loss. Since that time I have hired her for six months to care for me.starting in 2023, she came three times weekly to help me recuperate after my second stroke. She prepared delicious and healthy meals, always came cheerfully on time, led me in excercise routines she devised, took me for naturewalks, bathed and massaged my swollen feet and taught me how to use meditation as part of my healing. Rinchen is dependable, cheerful, respectful, resourceful, and determined to heal and protect her patients. The loving attention she gives her clients is very rare. In short, I am advising any prospective client to hire this wonderful, talented caregiver, she will become your friend for life! Sincerely, Carole
