I'm a kindergarten teacher before I become a CNA, I have 10 years of experience as a caregiver and a CNA. I work at a VA hospital and rehab post-acute facility, as well as an assisted living facility. Additionally, I work part-time as a caregiver at a 6-bed facility, leveraging my expertise as a personal caregiver. My services include transportation and meal preparation. My patient care responsibilities encompass assisting with bathroom use, bathing, and hygiene maintenance, as well as repositioning and transferring patients. I'm trained to use a Hoyer lift and standing lift for transfers. I also provide meal assistance and take vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature. Furthermore, I engage with patients to address their health concerns and report pertinent details to registered nurses or doctors. Transportation is included; I can drive your vehicle or my own car, a GMC Envoy SUV or Toyota Sienna Van, with an additional charge for gas.
