Rima was my husband's caregiver for one year, He had ALS. He was the second person she cared for with this disease. He passed away on January 4, 2021.Rima was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and punctual. She never missed a day of work. Rima is very competent in using all of the equipment needed to care for an ALS patient, I learned so much from her about how to care for my husband. She is trained in the use of the Hoyer lift, cough assist, and suction machine. She would take his blood pressure, measure is heart rate and oxygen levels every day. She is also knowledgeable in G tube feeding. She fought the good fight with his bedsores. When she started he had awful bedsores from being in the hospital. Rima was instrumental in getting them healed. She had a schedule that my husband loved. He knew what was going to be done every hour of the day. He was not able to leave his bed for showers or to use the bathroom, She gave him a very through bed bath everyday. We love her!
