I have always been around children my whole life. When I attended church in Illinois I was always taking care of the kids when the moms needed a break or some time alone. The most I ever babysat at once was 5 children when the mother had to run errands for a day. I also have taken care of an elderly lady who was in her late 70s at the time after having surgery. She had to be in a wheelchair for 8 weeks. I chose to live with her and help her with whatever she needed during that time. In March of 2023-October 2024, I lived with my niece (4) and my nephews (3, 1). I helped make them breakfast, cleaned, changed diapers, helped with baths and nap time. I took the kids to the zoo or park. I drove them to play dates and babysat play dates. I also watched my boss' son (2-3) every Wednesday from 9am-4 p.m. for a year. I also did over night baby sitting when his parents went on dates, or birthday parties.
