From a young age I realized I was a little different, the fun hair came a little later in life but definitely became apart of who I am. Teaching special education has always been my life's passion. I never wanted to be a ballerina, it was always I want to be the change I want to see in the world. I believe they deserve to be heard, accommodated, respected and looked after because the joy they bring lights up the world. I have about 6 years in the industry working with people of all ages with intellectual disabilities but my last two years have been spent at an all inclusive school! I taught 2. 5-3. 5-year-old kiddos. Most of them either had a behavior disorder or autism. I spent those two years learning about their schedules, routines, feeding, therapies and how to teach them everyday tasks. I found what truly makes me happy so I just recently started to become an ABA therapist where I will continue my learning journey.
