I am a certified Teacher in Childhood Education 1-6, and Students with Disabilities for Pre-K to 6th Grade. I am passionate about teaching, and creating environments where all children love learning and feel successful. This is my 6th year working as a Special Education teacher in the Syracuse City School District. I have experience working in 2nd and 3rd Grade. I also was a long-term substitute in a Kindergarten classroom, and have been a substitute in grades Kindergarten - 6th grade. I am currently my school building IEP Lead, where I support other Special Education teachers in IEP development and questions surrounding best practices. I am trained in UFLI Phonics Program, Wilson Reading System, and the SOAR Multiplication and Division program. I am also familiar with test prep for NYS Tests in Grades 3-5.
