About Riley

I'm currently a preschool teacher with two years of experience caring for children aged 3 to 5. I'm drawn to this field because I love fostering children's growth and development. My own experiences raising a child inspired me to become a caregiver, and I'm committed to supporting families by providing reliable childcare. I am looking for a position as a summer nanny and/or as an occasional sitter. When it comes to communicating with parents, I follow the method they prefer, whether it's verbal communication at pickup, regular updates via text, or phone calls. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the children. I am familiar and most comfortable with using positive discipline approaches. I enjoy spending time outside in natural environments with children, reading books, playing board games, and facilitating child-led play experiences. I have a B. A. in Child and Family Development and am CPR and First Aid certified.
