About Richard

I have around 25 years experience working as a creative designer, illustrator and art director. I was an illustrator at The British Museum for 5 years, a graphic designer at the BBC and more recently a designer in the animation industry. I have two children of my own and being able to draw and paint with them is a joy for me, I'd love to be able to bring my experience and passion for the visual arts into your lives! I'd describe my personality as attentive, creative, fun! I started tutoring in the early 2000's. I was lucky enough to sit in schools and discuss how children might best interact with objects and materials from ancient civilizations. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors experiencing nature. I love the beaches, the desert and the mountains. One thing you should know about me is I have two children of my own, both teenagers. So I have first hand experience of the joys of bringing children up! My skills include Art, English and Art History.
