About Rhya

Hello! My name is Rhya and I am a sophomore at Iowa State University completing a degree in Psychology and completing medical school prerequisites. I am a member of the George Washington Carver Scholarship Program as well as the STEM Scholars Program. I have worked as a lifeguard for the past four years and taught children aged 3-7 years of age level 1 swim lessons. I have years of experience with family and friends in my community with children this age and younger. I also have volunteer experience with Raising Readers of Ames, a childhood literacy nonprofit organization. I am looking for opportunities to nanny or babysit this summer, and am open to any other work as needed! My spring semester is set to end in the middle of May, and I am excited to continue to strengthen my skills working with children!
