I have four children of my own. The last two I adopted are the most important things in the world to me. I did foster care for about 5 years before we adopted. I cared for all kinds of different types of children with different needs, a lot of them were special needs children. We enjoyed taking care of all the children we had but stopped when we adopted our babies. As a child I grew up on a farm with five siblings. Family values were an important part of our daily lives. I started babysitting for different family members when I was about 13. I have never found anything more rewarding than caring for children. I live in Godfrey Illinois.
