About Rhonda

I am a retired elementary school teacher and art teacher. I had dual licensures and taught for 14 years in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. I love teaching math, reading, writing. I also teach piano and have been playing for over 40 years. In addition, I have worked with special education students for many years as part of my teaching practice. I am very patient and use multiple methods to approach leaning that addresses the needs of My skills include being able to meet students where they are in their learning. I love teaching math, music and art because I can help students to see the patterns in these areas and this enables them to recognize different ways to learn. I also love teaching reading and writing as these two skills are necessary for any child to succeed in school and life. I know the approaches that will help children to aid themselves in their learning. The goal is to give each child the tools they need to help themselves.
