I worked for the same family for 28 years, beginning my journey as a nanny and eventually advancing to the roles of household manager and personal assistant. Since I left that position two and a half years ago, I have come to understand that my most rewarding role is being a companion to seniors-whether they are facing dementia or simply require someone to join them on outings in Nashville or during family visits. I can offer additional support, help organize their living space, assist with meal preparation, and handle a variety of household chores. Now in my 50s and a breast cancer survivor, I've gained invaluable life experiences that highlight the importance of forming connections. My aim is to help others feel recognized and to assist them in enjoying their lives to the fullest, regardless of any challenges they might encounter.

My sister and I had the amazing luck of finding Rhonda Ann to help care for our beloved Mother who was battling dementia. We both were her primary caregivers, but we desperately needed respite care. From the moment we met Rhonda Ann, we knew she was the perfect person to help care for Mom! She is incredibly dependable, kind, trustworthy and compassionate! My Mom absolutely adored her! Being a caregiver for someone with dementia takes a very special person and that is Rhonda Ann for sure!! She spent about six months with Mom before she passed away in November of 2024. The actual day of her passing Rhonda Ann wasn’t scheduled to work and the hospice care team told us she could pass at any minute. My entire family was there at the house, talking to her, letting her know we’d all be okay and she could let go. We couldn’t figure out why she seemed to be hanging on. Then Rhonda Ann stopped by, just to check on her. She sat next to her bed, telling her how much she had enjoyed spending time with her and how loved she was. Then, just a few minutes later, she died. My family and I feel that Mom wanted to see Rhonda Ann one last time. Although we didn’t work with her for an extended period of time, the time we did spend together was so precious and made my Moms last few months full of love and laughter! We can’t thank her enough for everything she did for both Mom and our family!
