About Reyna

I'd describe my personality as kind, responsible, and adaptable. I like working with kids because it's very rewarding. They never fail to keep me on my toes and keep a smile on my face with the endless jokes they seem to have! It's nice getting a look into what the next generation will be like and how their thought processes differ from others. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. I attended the Santa Cruz Outdoor Science School for a week, where I was a Cabin Leader and managed a group of 10 kids. I would keep them on task during hikes, group activities, and put them to bed. Since then, I've worked at Steindorf STEAM School as an After School Program Teacher. My mother also has 3 kids under the age of 10, so I help her watch them whenever she needs! My skills include: I'm able to help with homework, Great at developing/ leading kids in fun/ engaging activities, and I have the ability to be compassionate and adapt my sitting styles to cater to the individual child!
