About Renee

Hi there! My name is Renee, and I'm 18 years old. I have a strong passion for working with children, and have been doing so for the past 6 years! I started babysitting at 12, just to help out my aunts or family friends, and at 14, I started working for new families. I'm also an ex-ski racer for palisades Tahoe far west team, and at 16, I retired from ski racing and became a junior ski coach for palisades Tahoe mighty mites team. For the past two years during winter season, the head coach and I take a group of kids ages 5-9 skiing and work on skills to make them stronger skiers. After the season, there was a 100% pass rate for all the kids on the team, due to the dedication and hard work of my head coach and I. I am currently a college freshman at Chapman University in Orange County. I'm majoring in psychology and hope to become a school psychologist one day to help youth with mental health. I'm a very artistic & creative person, as well as an active person who enjoys nature!
