About Renee

Hello my name is Renée! I'm a graduate student at Caldwell University studying to become an art therapist. I have 8 years of experience caring for children and teenagers ages 4 and up, at a day camp local to where I live. My favorite part of being a counselor at camp is engaging with the campers, teaching them new things, and helping them have fun in any way I can - while also making sure they stay in safe bounds! I was specifically the art director at the summer camp, so I have skills brainstorming fun crafts with children and helping them use their creativity to the fullest! I also have experience babysitting! I've babysat two boys ages 4 and 6 and have experience picking them up from school and driving them home / to different activities outside of the house. I have an excellent driving record and am extremely reliable. I also have experience caring for a 10-year-old boy on the spectrum, helping him academically. I'd describe my personality as gentle, kind, patient and joyful!
