Hello! My name is Renee and I am interested in this position. The position would be great I am a certified K-6 elementary teacher. I am finishing up my first year of teaching 4th grade in Somerset. I just finished my master's degree as an elementary education with special education student at Ramapo College of New Jersey. I have experience with children from ages 3 months - 12 years. I was an early preschool lead teacher at Primrose School of Old Bridge. I have worked my town's summer camp since 2015 and have been with the age groups from kindergarten - 6th grade. The past 2 summers, I worked as the head summer camp counselor/summer curriculum coordinator at Kids 'R' Kids North Brunswick. The campers age range was from 5 to 12. This previous year I student taught the whole year in 2nd grade! I am fully vaccinated/boosted and am CPR and First Aid Certified. I also have a reliable car! Renee is amazing! We wish she didn’t move from college we would’ve been selfish and wanted her to stay. She has great time management, communication, and has such a good heart. The kids always love when she came over and only wanted her. She would take my 7 month old son to pick up my toddler from daycare and I trusted her with everything. The kids were always safe in the car, and many times would rather go with Renee than us. We love her!
