About Rena

I loved raising my children (now age 22 and 25) and can't believe how quickly they grew up! I miss reading stories, playing outside, doing art projects and teaching them to bake! I started babysitting when I was 11 years old and continued as a teen. I have cared for my neighbor's children. From 2016 to 2018, I worked alongside my daughter (aged 16 at the time) in the toddler/pre-school nursery at a local church providing weekly childcare for children age 10 months - 5 yrs old. I am a patient person and a good listener. I encourage creativity and honor the individuality of each child. I have a 13-year-old dog who hides bagels in our couch-- he is featured in my bedtime stories! I am a seasoned tv producer and worked on 2 child development/parenting shows on FX/Discovery Channel and 3 PBS cooking shows. I enjoy healthy cooking, family time and being outside! I am seeking employment as a date-night babysitter. Short-notice bookings (72 hrs or less) preferred, limited daytime availability.
