About Regan

Hello! My name is Regan and I am a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame and am working as a scientific researcher in Cambridge. I have worked with children of all ages as a ski instructor, babysitter, and elementary and middle school substitute teacher. I have taught 4-6th grade curriculum, but am confident in my abilities to tutor older or younger kids! I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and fun. I like tutoring because I enjoy seeing the "lightbulb moment" where kids finally understand what they are doing. Nothing is better than watching them succeed in something that was once challenging! I'm looking for a job that is compatible with my 9-5 schedule. I'm willing to drive and hope to have a relatively long-term tutoring position 1-3 times a week! In my spare time, I like to be outside, and I especially enjoy hiking and skiing! My skills include math, science, and grammar! I am also good with standardized test prep, such as ACT and SAT.
