About Regan

Hello! My name is Regan and I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, with experience as a part-time nanny at 21. When I was 22 I spent one year working with a nature-based preschool, learning their philosophy and approach to childcare, which focused on exploration and harnessing kids' energies, as well as how to connect what is being read in books or seen in movies to what is happening outside. This experience influenced how I have cared for kids since. For example, when my boyfriend's niece (3 years old) asks me a question, before answering, I like to ask her why or what she thinks and allow her to try and problem solve, or engage her imagination (depending on how silly she is feeling). I really enjoy turning everyday activities into fun, educational games. I have reliable transportation and am also happy to prepare meals, help with homework, run necessary errands, and whatever else you and your child/children may need.
