Hi, I'm Rebekah, often known as RJ! I'm looking for more childcare work in Cheyenne, WY. I have enjoyed working with children for many years. I have 10 siblings and have helped my family with foster care. I have experience with children with trauma and special needs. I have experience with programs such as Trust-Based Relational Intervention and Love & Logic. I am open to part-time or full-time work, but will need time off for some vacations. I will also be moving away beginning of August, 2025. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, reading, writing stories, and spending time with friends. Rebekah is both competent and experienced. My kiddo considers her a friend because she's so fun, and I love her because she does her job so well. She is really good with redirecting my 2 year old's attention; gentle, yet firm and can handle meltdowns and/or bad days without my child resenting her at the end. I can go out or stay home while my kiddo is engaged, entertained, and happily out of my hair. She has taught my kiddo so much by finding ways to work developmentally appropriate lessons into their play. Rebekah is even good with cloth diapers (prefold and cover), which is a rare find, and is willing to go outside for walks or to play in the sandbox. She is prompt, dependable, never gets sick, and is willing to come when my child is ill (as long as it's not something super contagious that might pass on to the other children she watches). We never have to worry when we've got Rebekah working for us.
