About Rebecca

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, fun and caring. I like working with kids because I enjoy having fun and helping them explore the world around them. I'm currently a substitute teacher and I love helping students learn and believe in themselves! I'm looking for a job that allows me to be outside and go on adventures. I'm always ready to swim, hike, go to the library, ride bikes and play games. I started working with kids when I was very young as a babysitter. I spent my summers in college working at kids camps. I got my degree in Elementary Education and was a preschool teacher after I graduated. I was a full time nanny for over 12 years before I had my son. I have been a substitute teacher for 6 years now. I love to go skiing, play tennis, hike and enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy being in the kitchen and am always making food to share with people I know. I have a 12-year-old son and a chocolate lab I like to relax with at home or go out adventuring with!
