About Rebecca

I took some time off to be home with my 2 children, who are now 19 and 22. For 2 years I helped care for a very sweet non-verbal preschooler, and during my kids' school years we were always bringing friends home after school. They often stayed for dinner, or even occasionally overnight when their parents' work schedules needed that kind of help. For years I have been helping friends out by babysitting their kids. I lean into the philosophy that free time, nature and mess provide the best learning environment for kids (with good clean up afterwards, since tidiness rates high with me) I love the wonder kids experience in learning about the world, and I love that they give 100%, whether it's with focus, joy, enthusiasm, sadness, frustration, or any other emotion. Children are one of life's true delights!
