About Rebecca

I am a 44-year-old mother of three grown daughters. I graduated from Umass-Amherst with a degree in Human Services. I was a PCA for both quad and paraplegic clients and spent time interning in nursing homes in the Amherst area. While raising my children I did occasional work as a senior caregiver, as well as become a certified exercise instructor and personal fitness trainer. Some of my favorite exercise students are seniors and that led me to want to work more regularly with them. In the past few years, I began working for several different care agencies and have truly enjoyed my experiences working with a variety of clients. I have experience working with mobility impairment, dementia and Alzheimer's clients. I truly enjoy and value my time spent in the company of elders. I feel it is highly important for this population to have the highest possible quality of life in their senior years and I feel they give as much back to me and I try to do for them!
