I have a lot of real world experience with special needs. I grew up with an older brother who was developmentally delayed. Living with my brother exposed me at a young age to the different abilities we all have. I have volunteered with profoundly and severely special needs children in a residential facility as well in orphanages overseas. I also worked as a PCA for a classmate in college. My oldest child has high functioning autism, ADHD and OCD. My other kids have ADHD, food allergies, and one has epilepsy. I enjoy working with people with special needs, and would love to help out however is needed. It takes a village, let me be a part of it. :)
