About Rebecca

Hi, I'm Becca! I've spent the past decade teaching young children in preschools, public school classrooms, after-school programs, and summer camps. I hold my B. A. in Child & Adolescent Development, and I'm currently pursuing an M. A. Language & Literacy Instruction. I'm a big lover of play! I grew up in the world of children's theater-learning and performing at the Julia Morgan, CCCT, Children's Fairyland, and beyond-and I love to weave aspects of music, movement, and storytelling into my teaching. Children have such unique and powerful ways of expressing themselves! I'm also a big believer in the magic of the outdoors. I love how nature engages children's innate curiosity about the world around them, and there is always something wiggly, squishy, green, or crunchy just waiting to be observed, learned about, or incorporated into play. When I'm not working, you can find me baking extravagant desserts, birdwatching on the local trails, or playing Dungeons & Dragons with my best buddie
