My mother had the choice to put him in a nursing home, but our family is so very family oriented that putting him in a nursing home was never a thought. I also have an older brother who was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, and he's been in the care of my mother and I as well. So caring for anyone who needs any kind of assistance comes naturally, and I love helping anyone who needs help.
