I have over a year and a half experience working with a pediatric client who sustained a traumatic brain injury. I was her 1:1 aide 5-6 days a week assisting in all of her rehab therapies, school, hobbies and activities of daily life. We started working together with an extreme communication barrier on her end and physical limitation. Over the time she has become more independent. The experience has been incredibly rewarding and successful.
