About Rebecca

I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Recreational Therapy/Therapeutic Recreation. I am currently working at New Haven Residential Treatment Center for teen girls ages 13-18. My responsibilities include supervising, disciplining, mentoring, and most importantly giving love, support and friendship to the girls attending this facility. This has given me a lot of experience holding boundaries and connecting with teenagers. Additionally, since I was 12 I have had a lot of experience babysitting for families in my neighborhood as well as for my own siblings. These children ranged from newborn-16 years old. When my youngest brother was born I was 15 years old. My mother was unavailable a lot and so the responsibility of primary care giver for my brother, as well as my other three younger siblings, fell to me about half the time. I would drive them to their activities, clean the house, grocery shop, do laundry, and cook dinner.
