For the past 8 years I have been an elementary school special education teacher working with students with a wide range of disabilities, with a focus area in helping students with intellectual and language disabilities in the primary grades. I found a passion in helping pre-verbal students learn to communicate with whole language. I am currently taking a break from teaching to spend more time with my 16-month-old daughter, who is my entire world.
