Certified Math Teacher . Over 7 years of teaching and more than 20 years of tutoring experience. I specialize in Middle School Math, Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, knowledgeable and experienced. I like tutoring because I am able to provide one-to-one support to my students which is specific to their learning style and I am also able to fill gaps in learning. I'm looking for a job that helps me fill in my evening and weekend time. I started tutoring in 2003. In my spare time, I like to take dance and guitar classes. I also like to play table tennis. One thing you should know about me is I care about my students and their success is personal to me. My skills include good communication, able to break down difficult concepts in small easy steps that are easy to understand, and helping students gain confidence and overcome test anxiety.
