I have been a long term companion, aide, driver for multiple people. The responsibilities included everything from assisting with activities of daily living to house keeping and meal prep, all the way to driving and maintaining households and a multi-million dollar fleet of Rolls Royces. The past people I have assisted with had a variety of ailments from hydrocephalus, joint replacements, brain injuries, seizures, dementia, and generalized weaknesses. Being an EMT since I was 16 years old (now 40) I am very accustomed to the changing dynamics of caring for people in a variety of ways. I attended nursing school for my RN But have yet to complete my studies (I have 6 months to complete) and have also worked in one of the premier rehabilitation hospitals in the country for almost 5 years which specialized in spinal and brain injuries.
