About Raven

Truly, one of my greatest passions is working with children. Right now, I lead the kids' ministry at my home church* here in Brooklyn, serving little ones aged two to eight (and occasionally older kiddos too!). My flexible schedule as a part-time consultant allows me to dedicate myself to what I love most: nurturing, teaching, and building relationships with our next generation. Over 10 years ago, I began babysitting for my pastor's family, caring for his four children (aged 3-7) with very specific food allergies. Immensely enjoying the experience, I then took on tutoring at my local elementary school, where I discovered my love for teaching & mentoring I've worked full-time at summer camps, schools & community centers providing after-school care & tutoring for varying ages, which taught me so much about patience, creativity & connection. *My faith has shaped my passion for service, but I'll never use my time with your children to share personal beliefs.
