About Raven

Hello Families! I can't wait to work with you! I have been working in childcare since 2016. I started out working with infants 6 weeks to 18 months for 2 years and then began working with preschoolers 3 years to 4 years old for 3 years. I currently work with pre-kindergarten and teach a mock Kindergarten class to 4-6-year-olds. My class focuses on common core standards and preparing the children for kindergarten the best that I can. I've been teaching prekindergarten for 2 years. I was awarded teach of the year at my job for the year 2022 along with being awarded a curriculum implementation for having the best curriculum for 2022. I love working with children because no matter how long I've known a child, watching them grow, develop, and thrive throughout the years is such an amazing feeling. Seeing their growth from when I first started teaching them to the end of the year or even the next few years is an experience I'll always cherish.
