Empathy, patience, and kindness. It's incredibly rewarding to empower students and give specialized attention to find confidence in a subject they are intimidated by. As a student, I cherished my tutors, and it's fulfilling to be able to pay it forward now as an educated professional! No matter how much your child is struggling, I will never make them feel less than. As someone who can empathize with having a difficult time with certain subjects, I have deep empathy when I tutor and try to find a unique method that works best for each student. I've tutored on and off for the last 13 years - primarily helping toddlers, elementary, and middle school students. What makes me a strong tutor? I'm able to explain complex topics in a simple, digestible way. Also, I have excellent time management to structure lessons effectively. I love to utilize engaging teaching methods (i. e. practice exercises, visual aids, games) to make it fun for everyone!
