About Raquel

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, compassionate, and outgoing. I'm looking to care for up to three children 5 y/o and up. I'm comfortable driving, assisting with homework, grocery shopping, caring for pets, and keeping house - such as laundry, cooking meals, and tidying. During the school year, I'm flexible on weekends and weekdays mon/tues/fri, available in the morning, afternoon, and/or evening. As the oldest of my two siblings, I've babysat since I was 13. I also volunteered as an aide for preschool and kindergarten before-and-after-care, as well as children's summer day camps, Since, I have babysat for my elementary and middle-school-age cousins and neighbors on occasion. I enjoy painting, playing guitar, kayaking, and reading in my spare time. My strengths include arts and crafts, de-escalating sibling conflict, organization, technology assistance, and tutoring in English, art, and music classes.
