I hired Raquel initially to accompany my 5 year old son who is autistic to summer camp. I was afraid it was going to be a rough transition for him to go from his regular classroom to a new setting. But Raquel really did such an amazing job at helping him transition and adapt to his new environment. My son has a very slow to warm up personality and it takes him a long time to get use to new people. But he took to Raquel almost immediately. She has a very warm and caring demeanor that made my son feel safe and comfortable. Because of my sons autism, his behavior can be quite challenging and stressful. Raquel has faced those challenges head on with such patience and compassion. I also have an older son who is 8 and he loves her as well. She watches both our boys once to twice a week. She makes them dinner, keeps them engaged with activities and gets them ready for bed like a pro! She is always on time, and very dependable. We absolutely love her!
