Hello, I am a caring, empathetic and compassionate individual. I have range of experiences supporting people with disabilities. Previously, I was a direct support professional at a group home for men with disabilities. I also worked in elementary special education as a paraprofessional for their multiple impairments classroom. Currently, I am an employment counselor through a non profit called JFCS and I help find and maintain job for persons with various abilities. With my education in psychology and human services, I understand the systemic barriers that are present. My warm and bubbly personality makes it easy for me to make connections with the people I work with. I'm quick on my feet, and enjoy learning new things. My favorite things to do involve being outside such as walking, hiking, biking, etc. I also enjoy music, singing, and playing the piano (at a novice level). This is a little bit about me.
