About Raina

I have been in childcare since I was 12 years old. It began with a favor, watching a family friend's daughter, which led to my first regular babysitting job. By the age of 17, I became a full-time and live-in nanny for a family with two daughters, ages 2 and 4. Since then, I have had many jobs as an individual nanny, I've worked in a nanny service, and I have co-ran a child drop-off center. My experience ranges from newborns to teenagers, from twins to multiple siblings, and from date nights to full-time. I have also raised my own two beautiful sons, now ages 13 and 4. I enjoy interacting with and encouraging children to express themselves creatively through art, music, dance, and theatre. I love to find new, creative ways of engaging children to help them learn and explore. I find the outdoors and adventure are very important and beneficial to all children and their development. I encourage taking them to the park, zoo, playdates, and story times.
