About Rahul

Hi! My name is Rahul. I am 24 years old and a graduate of Carleton College (small, liberal arts school in Minnesota), who currently lives in Silver Spring, MD. I began tutoring as a high school student in St. Louis, MO, continuing in 2020 when I became a live-in nanny/tutor for a family with two middle school boys in California during Deep COVID. I then returned to the DMV in 2021 and picked up more tutoring jobs for elementary schoolers in Old Town, Alexandria. I spend my spare time reading and have been learning the tenor saxophone. I keep my mind sharp with creative writing exercises and run Dungeons & Dragons campaigns for my friends. I am very comfortable working with children and bring a warm and patient energy with me to every session. I feel very strongly that learning and applying critical thinking skills to every day life is crucial to a strong education and look forward to supporting your child's learning abilities.
