I started caregiving looking for a plain old job, then once I started, I dont think you could ever convince me of a more rewarding job. To help someone with their day to day and see their face light up when you come to greet them. When I first took on this caregiver role I had just previously started cosmetology school in 2021. Now as of upcoming 2025, I am a licensed cosmetologist, yet I still work in caregiving. Never stopped the whole time actually, I cannot pull myself to do it. I would much rather spend my time with these people that I got the opportunity to meet, know and spend my day making theirs better. I think you could use many words to describe yourself, but I also think meeting someone gives a different feel. If I did have to describe myself though I would say Im a very hardworking, dedicated, polite, organized, and pretty funny from time to time person. All thats left so say is, I genuinely love being a caregiver and would love the opportunity to meet your family member!
