About Raechel

Caregiving is my true calling. I've cared for individuals as young as 9 and as old as 97 with 10 years of professional experience under my belt. I've worked both privately and in group homes and assisted living facilities. I've cared for individuals who are cancer patients, cerebral palsy, MS, autism, TBIs, paraplegic, quadriplegic, Parkinson's, dementia, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, stroke recovery, and seizure disorders. I offer assistance with transfers both pivoting, sit to stands, and hoyer lifts. I also offer music therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and painting to work on fine motor skills. I help with house management, laundry, cleaning, meal prep, gardening, bathing, wound care, medication management, vitals, and daily tracking of progress. Part of what makes me special is my ability to pick up new languages so I can better connect to the individuals I service such as Russian, German, & Portuguese. I have my CPR certification through Red Cross and in nursing school.
