Hello, I worked for for an organization, where attendants are matched with clients who have special needs to provide care for them within their own homes. I had the privilege of working with a young lady with cerebral palsy, and enjoyed working spending time with her several days per week while her primary caregivers were taking personal time to run errands, etc. Also, my twin brother has Downs Syndrome. As a result, I've had many opportunities to become familiar with the community of people with special needs. From volunteering in my brothers classroom in the schools we grew up in together, to involvement with the company her currently works for, I have interacted with people representing the spectrum of special needs. I love getting to know these individuals!
